Matsuyama finished 16-under par which was five shots better than second place finisher Zach Johnson.

The 25 year-old from Japan won his fifth PGA title after firing a course record 61 on Sunday.

In his post tournament press conference, Matsuymaya said he wasn’t really sure of his swing today which is scary to think of the possibilities when is feeling better about his game.

He now ties Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas with three wins each this year on the PGA tour.
